Michael Loring Jr.

Proudly Supported by On Call Services

Michael Loring Jr comes from a long line of rodeo cowboys. His Grandfather, Father, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins have or are currently involved in the sport. This will be Michael’s first year joining the rodeo circuit in the most dangerous sport, Bull Riding. Bull riding is a rodeo sport where a rider mounts a bucking bull until the 8 second buzzer sounds.

Michael grew up at Simpcw First Nation in Barriere and graduated from Barriere Secondary. His passion growing up was the sport of Hockey. He played Clearwater Minor Hockey and excelled at all levels. Now, Michael is following in the footsteps of his family members and is fortunate to have them as his mentors.

Michael’s Grandfather Greg Loring rode saddle bronc and team roped in the Interior Rodeo Association, the predecessor of the BC Rodeo Association (BCRA) and the Chilcotin Rodeo Association (CRA).

Michael’s Father Mike Loring was a bull rider and saddle bronc rider in the CRA and BCRA associations. Mike is a Bull Fighter and has travelled throughout BC, Alberta and the Yukon saving cowboys.

His Uncles both rodeo as well. Hugh rode bulls and broncs in the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA), CRA, and BCRA. Junior (Greg) rode bulls in the BCRA and like his older brother Mike, he is an accomplished Bull Fighter in the Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association, CPRA and Professional Bull Riders (PBR).

Michael appreciates the support that On Call Service is providing and says it is an extreme honour and privilege to be representing a local company that is always available to lend their services at any time of the day to help people.
